
In line with the RLSS UK Qualification Reasonable Adjustment and Special Consideration Policy an ATC/P Co-ordinator and/or Trainer can make the following adjustments without the need to come to us providing you are satisfied you have sufficient evidence:
- Extra time up to 25%
- Supervised rest breaks
- Change in the layout of the assessment room
- Taking the assessment at an alternate venue
- Use of coloured overlays
- Assessment material on coloured paper
- Reader
In all situations where reasonable adjustments are made, you must:
- Fill in a Reasonable Adjustment Application Form: Ensure this form is completed accurately.
- Do Not Retain Copies of Evidence: Ensure that you do not keep copies of candidate evidence. This helps protect their privacy and complies with data protection regulations.
- Upload to Course Event: The completed form must be uploaded to the relevant course event in the course management system.
- Retain with Course/Assessment Paperwork: Keep the form with the course and assessment paperwork.
- GDPR Compliance: Ensure that all documentation is handled in line with current GDPR requirements to protect personal data.
By following these steps, you can ensure that reasonable adjustments are properly documented and compliant with data protection regulations.
