Are there different types of Internal Quality Assurance checks I can complete?

There are three types of checks that an Approved Training Centre or Provider can complete. The type of IQA chosen will depend on several factors, including:

  • The purpose of the IQA
  • The qualifications or competencies of the Internal Quality Assurer
  • The specific qualification being assessed
  • The level of risk posed by the trainer or assessor

Face-to-Face IQA:

Requirement: The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) must be physically present to conduct the IQA.

Remote IQA:

Requirement: The IQA must watch a recording of the course or assessment within 2 weeks to conduct the IQA.

Document Review:

Requirement: The IQA must review the paperwork for course delivery or assessments within 2 weeks to conduct the IQA.

These methods ensure that the quality assurance process is thorough and timely. If you need further assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Compliance Team.
