As this is a community awareness course, the ratio of 30:2 will be used. Following Resuscitation Council 2025 Paediatric Life Support (basic and advanced) Guidelines, the Ambulance service call handlers will also use a 30:2 ratio for CPR instructions with 5 initial rescue breaths for untrained bystanders.
