What are the minimum requirements of a First Aid Trainer Assessor surrounding Internal Quality Assurance?

To actively deliver RLSS UK First Aid Qualifications, a First Aid Trainer Assessor must undergo at least one face-to-face Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) check.

The Internal Quality Assurer must be suitably qualified and observe the Trainer Assessor delivering or assessing enough first aid content to make valid and informed decisions about their performance.

This ensures that the Trainer Assessors are meeting the required standards and delivering high-quality training.

As this IQA is linked to the Trainer Assessor resources it is important to ensure the IQA is submitted promptly. You will need to upload the completed IQA to the course management system by completing the First Aid TA Annual IQA form.

Providing the IQA meets our compliance checks this will be logged against your account and resources added for 12 months from the date the IQA was completed.
