The Rookie Lifeguard programme is an award scheme, not a qualification. Rookie Lifeguards work towards and complete course content stages (e.g., Bronze, Silver, and Gold) that run over a period of time (e.g., 8-10 weeks). On successful completion, children can be awarded a certificate.
