How do I tell if a Trainer/Assessor or Instructor has completed the CPR and First Aid Update 2026?

To ensure all RLSS UK Trainer/Assessors (T/As) and Instructors are up to date with their CPR and First Aid requirements, there are several ways you can verify their completion status.

They will have a certificate in their RLSS UK Account

Once the update is completed, a digital certificate is automatically added to the individual’s RLSS UK Account.
This can viewed or downloaded from the Awards or Certificates section within their RLSS UK Account.

A gold achievement bar will display at the top of their RLSS UK Account

A clearly visual gold achievement bar will appear on an individual’s RLSS UK profile once the CPR and First Aid Update has been successfully completed. This will make it super easy to spot at a glance who has completed the update.

ATCs, ATPs and Clubs can verify it in the ‘Our People’ section within their RLSS UK Account

If the individual has been added as staff against an ATC, ATP, or club, administrators will be able to see the completed update in their RLSS UK Account:

To find this, navigate to:
Our People → CPD/Training

The CPR and First Aid Update award will be listed there if it has been completed.

The RLSS UK system will not allow non‑compliant T/As or Instructors to be added to a course or assessment

RLSS UK systems automatically prevent any Trainer/Assessor or Instructor who has not completed the CPR and First Aid Update from being allocated to:

  • A course
  • An assessment
  • Any relevant training activity
